AUB Civic Fair 2013

The Center for Civic Engagement and Community Service (CCECS) is delighted to announce to you the 5th annual AUB Civic Fair under the theme of “uEngage for Better Change that will take place on campus on Wednesday April 10, 2013.

The fair, along with an exhibition by social organizations and groups, will feature Mr. Ziad Rahbani as a distinguished guest in an open dialogue with the community (12:00-2:00, Bathish Auditorium, West Hall)

In that context, several activities will precede the fair, and CCECS would like to invite you to take part in honoring Ziad by compiling your video production on him under the title of “ÒíÇÏ Åä Íßì” (or Ziad says), from your own and personal perspective.

All you need is to compile a two-minute video of how you see Ziad the musician, the director/play-writer/actor, the activist, and/or the person as you know him.  Be creative and expressive, as the best videos will be shown as an introduction to Ziad’s open dialogue, and all videos will be compiled into one production and presented to Ziad.

If interested, register your video entry as soon as possible by filling the information below, and submit your video to CCECS latest by Tuesday March 26, as an attachment if size permits, as a link, or pass it in person at the contact information below, and do not forget to include your own contacts. As a courtesy to Ziad, please refrain from contacting him for interviews or information.

For further information call CCECS at extension 4430 or email to ccecs@aub.edu.lb. You are also welcome to visit the center in West Hall, Basement B03 (www.ccecs.org).

For participation in Ziad’s video production, e-mail the following information to ccecs@aub.edu.lb by Tuesday March 12, 2013:
